One of the famous parks of India , Ranthambore national park is open for travelers now from 01 Oct 2011 . It is assumed that the sighting of tiger is more as compared to previous year . Lot of rains this time in rajasthan has made the place more greener & rich in flaura & fauna.

I wish to bring to your kind notice that Wildlife Census in Ranthambore National Park will be start 25 April 2012 to 04 May 2012. Ranthambhore National Park will be closed whole day on May 05,2012 and morning shift on may 06,2012 due to census of waterhole system.

“Department of Forest in Ranthambhore has just announced a tiger census in the Ranthambhore National park. The census will be conducted in two stages from April 25 to May 06, 2012. The pugmark count will be taken from April 25th to May 04th and the waterhole census from May 05th to 06th. At Ranthambhore, the pugmark census will be done from April 25th to 04th, during this time , the timing for visitors to the park has been changed only for Morning drives, which will start at 07:30 AM. While the water hole survey will be held from May 05th to May 06th and during this time the park will remain closed to the visitors for full (Both Safaris - Morning & Afternoon ) day on 05th of May & only Morning safari on 06th of May-2012. The Ranthambhore National Park will remain closed from July 1st, 2012 to September 30th, 2012 due to monsoon season.
